We came up with our idea last minute for Christmas after our son-in-law won the State playoffs med December. We reached out after putting the idea to see if anyone was interested and could possibly get it completed before Christmas. MJ reached out to us and surpassed all of our expectations! MJ was such a joy to work with! I had a pretty unique custom pet art project that I wasn't quite sure how to make it into reality, when I found MJ and shared the idea with her, she immediately started providing many ideas, examples and mockups to help me visualize it. She had many choices of the medium too, and we picked a beautiful wood cut out format in the end that I'd never have imagined to begin with! The creation process was smooth and full of fun, not being an artistic person myself, I asked for her expert opinions on many of my thoughts and she's given me such great advice, that the final art piece turned out stunning :) I already have another project in mind that I'd love to work with her on, I'll definitely be coming back to MJ in the near future!

MJs work is stunning, our project has exceeded my expectations beyond words. I was hesitant to do this all online but I promise, it was so easy with MJ, she communicated every step and always made sure I was in agreement before moving to the next step. And the care that went in to shipping, it was seriously impressive! I will cherish this painting for my lifetime and I’m sure it will become an heirloom, it’s that impressive.

Mary is awesome plain and simple. She will work with with you to get it just right and when she does the work is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend her for any dog or pet project you have in mind.

Very easy to get in touch with Mary Jill Lemieur. She kept in constant contact. I received my picture very quickly. The colors were so vibrant - the images she sent me didn't do it justice as far as the sharpness of colors. My husband will love it.

I was very happy with the finished product- we had her paint a picture of a beloved pet that had recently passed away and she really captured his essence- did his eyes just right! Very sweet and helpful throughout the whole process!

Mary Jill Lemieur was a very pleasant and rewarding experience. I wanted a glicee watercolor of a picture of my deceased son. I'm so surprised I never wrote a review for Mary Jill! Her painting of my dog was amazing. He passed away and was more my mother's dog than mine and I wanted to get a painting done of him for her. MJ helped me add the perfect touches (like pawprints in the background) and her mixed media approach got me exactly the quality of painting I was hoping for. 100% would recommend and use her again in the future. I'm SO happy with this work :)

What a beautiful job Mary Jill did. The painting came out beautiful and what a pleasure it was to work with Mary Jill!

I was very pleased on how the piece came out, truly great! Mary was great to work with and open to hearing any and all of my ideas and inputs, of which there were many, but she never hesitated and was more than willing to accommodate anything I might've thrown her way. No complaints, only positives would work with again and recommend to anyone!

MJ was wonderful! She asked a lot of questions to make sure she knew what I wanted. She did a portrait of me for my husband as an anniversary gift. I am more than happy with her work. She is extremely detailed oriented and she consulted with me a lot to get everything just right. She is affable, professional, and gives suggestions to enhance the project. I am definitely going to be working with her again! I highly recommend her!

My project entailed having a 4x6 photo of our old sailboat painted for my wife's birthday, which was four weeks away. I was looking for something to fit in a 16x20 frame. Upon posting my project, Mary was quick to respond. She shared some of her work and it looked great. Upon agreeing to have her create the painting, she stayed in touch with me throughout the process. The entire process took about two weeks. She kept updating me throughout with her progress and was very receptive when I requested a change. Once the final version was approved by me, it was shipped out and received in time for the birthday. I would highly recommend using Mary for your projects.

I am extremely happy with the end result. She worked with me very closely and on every detail. Gave me updates very often about how the project was going and to make sure I was happy with it. I will definitely be going to her again in the future for artwork. Amazing job.

I contacted Mary Jill after seeing the hedgehog piece online, in the hopes she could make a custom painting of a baby hippopotamus in a similar style for my son. After sending the idea to her, briefly describing what I wished for, and Mary Jill was nothing short of wonderful. She listened to all of the small details, and worked so efficiently to complete this artwork. I could not have hoped for a better result, and I'm so happy to have found her!

We got a gorgeous painting. Mary Jill took our paragraph log request and turned it into a work of art. Our save the dates are special because of her. I would recommend her work to anyone looking for an irreverent animal portrait. And who doesn't want one of those?

I'm so happy with the finished project and especially with Mary Jill. I've never used Custom Made and was skeptical of it but with constant communication with Mary Jill and juggling ideas around made me feel at ease. Mary Jill knows exactly what she's talking about when it comes to Art and will show you how the project is coming along before the finished project so you can add your input. Shipping was great as well, 2 day and came well before Christmas. My friend absolutely loved the painting of her beloved dog and had tears when she saw it. Thank you, thank you, thank you Mary Jill! Worth every single penny. Will be recommending you to everybody!

There is so much to say about this particular artist, Mary Jill Lemieur. Communication throughout has been excellent and even though I am in France, Mary has always seemed to be on the end of an email. My project was simple in that I only wanted a larger version of what she had to offer. She came back with suggestions of a larger size but, my fault, the size was in inches instead of centimeters, which posed a problem in a country that was metric, therefore frame sizes were difficult to find. Obviously, postage to Europe was going to be huge, but Mary kindly offered to include another print for the same cost, and I gratefully accepted. Nothing seemed too much trouble. When Mary had completed the project, she gave me an estimate of the cost with postage, which I paid. She then let me know when it had been posted and so, 5 days later, it arrived at my house in France. It was indeed, very well packed and arrived in perfect condition. The next day, I went out to find frames. I am very happy with her efforts to help out and give me exactly what I wanted.
