The original snow globe home portrait and snow globe pet portrait paintings! PLEASE NOTE: these are custom digital hand painted PAINTINGS on paper, NOT actual three dimensional glass snow globes! A hand painted pet portrait painting is a great gift for Mother's Day, Father's Day or Christmas, or for someone who has lost their dear pet! I'll create a PAINTING of your home, dog, cat, fish, etc. depicted inside a fantasy snow globe complete with swirling snow inside and a subtle splatter of lovely white and iridescent shimmery snow on the completed two dimensional artwork's surface. I'll add your pet's name or address on the silver plaque on globe's base. Choose the pine woods background, the snowy trees sunset background or the starry night sky background for your PAINTING. I will show you sketches and images of the artwork in progress, so you will know what the final two dimensional art will look like! These portraits are digitally drawn and hand painted with a stylus and tablet and finished as fine art prints on archival watercolor paper. They require mat and glass for framing, to protect the artwork (see video and picture of framed sample artwork.) Frame not included. I'm a professional artist specializing in fine art paintings, pet portraits and illustration. I have a fine arts degree with a major in graphic design. I've had over thirty-five years experience in creating custom artwork and design. I create artwork using a wide range of media: traditional watercolor, acrylic, oils, and pen and ink as well as modern hand-painted digital paintings on canvas and archival paper. I use only the highest quality archival materials in creating my work.

Mar 15, 2016My project entailed having a 4x6 photo of our old sailboat painted for my wife's birthday, which was four weeks away. I was looking for something to fit in a 16x20 frame. Upon posting my project, Mary was quick to respond. She shared some of her work and it looked great. Upon agreeing to have her create the painting, she stayed in touch with me throughout the process. The entire process took about two weeks. She kept updating me throughout with her progress and was very receptive when I requested a change. Once the final version was approved by me, it was shipped out and received in time for the birthday. I would highly recommend using Mary for your projects.
