Recycled Pink Depression Glass, Antique Stained Glass Window Transom, Old Window Valance
Pink depression glass makes a wonderful a window hanging, valance, or transom when cradled in iridescent stained glass. Celebrate the past with this collectable depression glass stained glass panel! This one features Mayfair Open Rose plates manufactured 1916 - 1933. In place of a valance or curtains, this would be the focal piece for any room. The gentle iridescence of the glass makes a wonderful accent to the graceful pattern and soft color of the plates. As a gift this is a piece that would be treasured -- it's a piece that brings back fond memories of days gone by! Previously loved and recycled, these wonderful old pieces can be treated with the respect they deserve and admired by all generations. I create stained glass Heritage panels, complimenting wind chimes, and traditional stained glass window panels.
While hot and warm styles have virtually taken over as home decor, I still craft cold glass in the Tiffany method. Each piece of glass is selected, carefully cut, fit, foiled, and soldered by hand before polishing for display.
My focus is the preservation of our family heirlooms by introducing a unique presentation with the incorporation of depression glassware and vintage dishes. Each piece brings back memories of grandma, makes us once again appreciate the things once treasured, and displays them in a new light.
Selected by Anchor Hocking as a Style and Trendsetter in 2010, featured by Glass Masters Quarterly fall 2012, as well as an award winner at several festivals in Florida, I look forward to working with individual clients for custom pieces.
