I made these doors for Deep River Farms in Deep River CT using Iroko, an African hardwood similar to teak. The tomato shaped windows were cut out on the CNC, 1/4 inch tempered glass fills the void. After sanding, I rubbed them with teak oil to deepen the color, excentuate the grain and protect from the environment.

    I wouldn't call myself a high-maintenance client but I did have specific requests for a wedding band. I wanted a wooden band made from eucalyptus and the wood needed to be from Australia. Dana met this challenge head on and found some red gum from Australia, which was not an easy task. She made my rings exactly to my specifications (I ordered five in case I lose any of them). They are beautifully made. Dana worked with me every step of the way, even making a couple of the rings slightly larger than my ring size so I'd have one or two to wear during summer months or when my fingers swell a bit. Dana was a pleasure to work with, very prompt and responsive with communication, and I couldn't recommend her more highly.
