Butcher's Cuff
Commissioned by a butcher who wanted a stainless steel arm covering to use with his butcher's glove. The customer said he kept slipping and slicing his arm when he worked too quickly, so he needed something knifeproof and rustproof that could be easily cleaned. We wove this 4 inch wide scale mail armband from stainless steel scales and rings in about 2 weeks time. It clasps with stainless steel hooks, but it has the option of being laced up as well. It can be thrown in the dishwasher or washed with regular hand soap. Low maintenance and virtually indestructible!
