Resume - men's work shirt- sky blue button down shirt with a stiff collar - ORIGINAL painting - acrylic on recycled wood TITLE: Resume Sky blue work shirt button down a little starchy ready to wear This pot is from my "Potential" series paintings done of simple/empty objects with their potential not yet realized I did these paintings in 2010. At the time my sons were 4 and 6 years old, and as I learned to be a mom and thought about their future I often struggled. I was only at peace when I realized that these little balls of energy were full of so much potential. Nothing for them has been decided yet. the same was true for me- I, even in my 30s, could be anything I wanted. I was also full of potential… and I should not lose that hope and joy.
