A contrasting wood body is the perfect backdrop for the different inlay subjects which are presented with incredible detail. Body and inlay parts are laser cut from domestic, exotic, and dyed woods, then meticulously hand crafted into the pen blank, making a stunning pen body. Shipped in a black velour with gold trim gift box. ROSE INLAY has a curly maple body perfect for the dyed inlay components - brown dyed maple for the stem, green dyed maple for the veined leaves, and red dyed maple for the spectacular rose. The rose inlay body sports the Executive pen style, a 24 kt gold finish pen that has an elegant look and smooth twist mechanism. BALD EAGLE INLAY has a walnut body with various dyed maple eagle face and feather components. The handsome Polaris pen style complements the Bald Eagle inlay perfectly, Artistic and streamlined, the Polaris twist pen is a writing pleasure. The 24 kt gold plating offers a bright pure gold plating that gives a rich and luxurious look. A great gift for anyone, especially the outdoors person or birder. CHINESE 'GOOD LUCK' ( sung yun ) INLAY has a redheart wood body embellished with the simplified 'good luck' Chinese symbol. A sure conversation piece, and a constant talisman of luck and good fortune for the user. The Majestic Squire pen mechanism is simply exquisite. It has has a superior quality Gold TN ( titanium nitride ) and Chrome finish with 24 kt Gold sculpted accents on the pen top and band, The pocket clip also has a clear crystal stone inset, truly a stunning pen presentation. FLAME INLAY hearkens back to an era when cars were more than mass produced transportation. The sign of a true 'Hot Rod' was the flames appliqued on the sides of the car. This flame inlay pen body is Blackwood wood, with orange dyed wood inlays for the flame effect. And with regards to performance, I already had a wooden pen with touch tip, but it lost inputs a lot on my tablet. Compared to that one this one is much better, it is super smooth to work with (and thinner too!).

This seam ripper fits my hand perfectly. I do wish there was a little more contrast in the wood - more like the picture on the website; very little black and the stain was a little darker. I do know that it is difficult to show all possibilities when working with wood; they are all different. Overall, I'm very pleased.
