This eclectic and simple box was handcrafted using sturdy archival Davey board and imported Indian and Japanese papers. A red coral bead serves as a decorative lid handle. My artistic efforts grew out of an intense curiosity about the natural world. I love creating organic jewelry using primarily sterling silver and gemstones, but also including materials with a rich history, particularly African trade beads. I also create boxes of all kinds using Davey board (an archival bookboard) and papers from all over the world.
