Loden Hand Woven Fabric

I love weaving with fine wools and mohair because of the wraped in coziness feeling it gives me. Wool is wonderfully warm, but breathes with you. Hand woven using a variety of cottons and rayons in the warp and a wool mohair blend in the weft creates a very soft, textured light weight fabric. This material has been fulled (washed and dryed) bringing our the loftiness of the wool mohair. The mohair in the fabric gives it an overall fuzzy look This fabric measures 30.5" (97cm) x 61" (154cm) and is suitable for lined or unlined jackets, vests, etc. Tips on sewing with handwovens included with purchase.
