Gun Box For The Colonel Of The Ct. Sate Police
I was contract by a family member of the CT. State Police Colonel to create a specially designed box for the Colonel as a birthday gift. The box itself is made from walnut and cherry. The cover of the box displays a wooden interpretation of the CT state seal (Done in cherry) which incases a State police unit patch. The rank insignia and unit challenge coins are sealed in a bed of clear epoxy. Inside the box displays 2 photos of the Colonel one youthful picture from when he was first hired by the state police and one current. Above his pictures is a recessed area custom designed for his sidearm and 1 additional magazine. These areas are felt lined and have magnetic inlays to secure the firearm in the event it is displayed vertically.
