Rustic Kitchen Island

This kitchen island was built for a farmhouse surrounded by apple orchards. We used recycled apple crate Douglas Fir to re-face the existing island. We added the 6" x 6" posts to give more of a furniture look. Planed lumber was then stained to match the look of the aged Fir.
