Custom Business Logo
I started with a 12" x 36" piece of ash board, 1/8" thick. Traced the business's design onto the wood with pen and carbon tracing paper, then using a hand held woodburner with intrchangable tips I burned the image into the wood. I finished the wood with Tung oil and mounted a bracket hook on the back for hanging. I also signed this piece on the front.

Woodburning is the art of burning images and designs into the surface of wood. Using red hot metal tips to burn pictures into Baltic Birch wood. I've done animals, flowers, inspirational signs, and business logos. Come on in and check them out. We are all mad here :)
The latest direction I'm going is word art. Different fonts and calligraphy combining to make my favorite quotes, and scripture, then burning them into wood.
The pieces are all unique and there are quite a few styles to choose from, some rustic, some art deco, some that can't be defined.
