The Wave Chair is a chaise lounge made entirely out of wood. No nails, screws or staples. It was made by the process of bent lamination, with each piece having a walnut edge banding. The chair can support at least 200 lbs. The curve conforms to the body and flexes with your weight. Iron Mountain Forge & Furniture is run by blacksmith and wood worker, Carley Ferrara and is located in Providence, Rhode Island. She and her team can design and forge anything from small hook racks and bottle openers to tables and rocking chairs. Though mainly focusing in steel, she is able to do some pieces in wood and glass as well.

Carley graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Interior Design with a concentration in Furniture Design. After spending some time making cabinets, she attended Rhode Island School of Design and received her Masters in Furniture Design with a concentration in metal.

She was featured as a contestant on "Ellen's Design Challenge" on HGTV.

    Very happy with my project with Carley at Iron Mountain Forge. I sent her a picture of a detailed fireplace screen that I happened to see on TV and she made a very impressive replica. She paid alot of attention to detail and asked good questions to make sure the final product was a perfect fit in a tight spot. Highly recommend.

    The sign didn't come out quite the way I envisioned, It could have been made alittle better, quality wise. The sign also arrived really dirty, covered in black charcoal? And dirt. The sign wasn't worth the amount I paid, if I would have paid half of what I paid it would have been reasonable for what I received. I appreciate carly taking on the challenge but I was expecting more, especially better quality for what I paid.
