Nautilus Chair
Produced through the process of steam bending, a treatment which allows for a heightened manipulation of hardwoods, this chair is designed to accommodate the dynamic curves of the human body. The seat of the chair rests on a front-facing spiral, allowing for the curve to stabilize the weight once the user has settled in. The backrest serves as a fulcrum, attached only at the mid-section rail, creating a gentle pivot as the sitter relaxes back into the chair.
