This gorgeous "stained glass" rose design was requested by a customer who sent us a similar picture he wanted to use as a guide. He specified ten birthstone colors for the stained glass portion around the center appliqued rose, and we drew inspiration from the forbidden rose and stained glass in the disney film Beauty and the Beast to create the finished product.

      I was very impressed from the beginning when working with Amanda. She understood what I was looking for, was open to my input and suggestions, and had some great ideas to make the quilt look absolutely beautiful! It arrived this morning, and my family members are SO pleased with the creative way she depicted our photos in the "icy waters"/glacier part of the quilt.
