Custom "Icy Waters" Paper Pieced Ombre Blue Quilt
This gorgeous quilt was made using a pattern from the book "Paper Pieced Modern" by Amy Garro. The design uses a meticulous technique called paper piecing to achieve the exact points in each block and is called "Icy Waters". It features varying shades of white and blue from light to dark to achieve its ombre fading effect. We added to the sides and bottom of the quilt to make the design queen size and quilted it using both stippling swirls and straight line stitching to complete the look. We could replicate this design in any custom color scheme.
