End Grain Walnut And Maple Wood Cutting Board

Beautiful, handcrafted one-of-a-kind cutting board made from maple and walnut hardwoods. This one-of-a-kind cutting board is constructed in the 'end-grain' butcher block style. Meaning the end grain of the lumber is facing up as your cutting surface. This provides a very durable surface that will not dull your knives as quickly as an edge grain butcher block. This butcher block is a solid 1.5 inch and 12"X16" All hardwoods are locally sourced in Blowing Rock NC American made with American wood! We know you will appreciate the craftsmanship and quality of each butcher block we create in our small shop. Each cutting board is finished with Howard butcher block conditioner as well as a 3 coats of a food safe oil. For longevity we only use food safe FDA approved, waterproof wood glue.
