Kitchen Island Butcher Block
The piece has a 2 inch thick food grade hard maple top that has been finished with a butcher block oil and wax. The base is also made of hard maple and the legs and frame are painted with a Nile blue acrylic professionally sprayed on finish. The shelf is a natural finish slatted hard maple shelf. There are two drawers in this piece that measure 19 inches wide by 4 inches tall by 19 inches deep. The piece measures 52 inches long by 27 inches deep by 36 inches tall. The piece is extremely sturdy and the top is silky smooth and freshly finished. The drawers slide on soft close ball bearing drawer slides for smooth drawer operation. In addition, he answered every single one of my questions about what type of extension to include, how large it should be, and even sent multiple photos so I would know what different color stains look like, Great experience - would use again and definitely recommend!
