Sall Doors I
Made to look 100 years old, but actually made in 2013, of poplar solids. Sticking, panels, and 1/8" tempered Neo-Restoration glass. The aged look is accomplished by using paneling boards of slightly different thicknesses; making paneling reveals slightly inconsistent; "loose joints" are approximated by slight misalignments of stiles and rails. The finish is a multi-stepped process: a two-color coat crackle finish, which is sealed with a water-white semi-gloss high performance acrylic urethane. Paint build-up in corners and edge wear is convincing. Pricing is for three doors and does not include sliding mechanism.

Eidolon Designs is a team of craftsmen and designers lead by husband-and-wife Mike Parker and Ann Cowperthwaite. Handmade in our downtown Raleigh studio since 1996.
