These doors are all designed by Ann Cowperthwaite and hand fabricated in our shop. Three sets of double 4'0" x 8'0" garage doors with concealed automatic openers. Glass is neo-restoration, tempered and assembled into insulated glass units (thermopane). Also pictured are double screen doors with bronze screening and neo-restoration thermopane glass. All doors are what we call "first surface barn board," meaning all exposed surfaces, including the 2 1/4″ edges, are authentic 100 year old barn board from Tennessee. The internal structure of the exterior doors are solid white oak to which the barn board is laminated. All doors were made to size in studio fabrication, per-hung and simply set in place on site. All are finished with three coats of Sikkens Premium Satin Finish; a high solids alkyd resin formula that is colorless and highly sustainable.

Eidolon Designs is a team of craftsmen and designers lead by husband-and-wife Mike Parker and Ann Cowperthwaite. We specialize in custom designed high-quality furniture, special architectural projects, and millwork for clients who value the personal over the manufactured. Handmade in our downtown Raleigh studio since 1996.

Mike uses his creative engineering and fabrication expertise to assure structural integrity, Ann her thoughtful visual articulation to assure beautiful presentation, and our craftsman their skill to create products designed to last a lifetime.
