Hello,
My name is John Kunstman, I build custom heirloom furniture and other wooden pieces. I am a full time firefighter / paramedic for my day job, and build custom furniture as a hobby. This allows me to spend extra attention to details that make the piece perfect.
In my shop hand tools are used to build my furniture pieces. Yes, i do have electricity, how ever its main use is for lights and a radio. And an occasional saw or other tool.
I bring 30 plus years of experience, which started working with my father since i was old enough to get in the way.
I hope to build your next heirloom piece that you will be proud to pass on to your family to enjoy.

Aug 7, 2014This is truly an heirloom piece. The wood is very high quality, the table weighs about 150 lbs! It's gracious yet hand hewn. My friends and neighbors love it as well. And I adore the color! I do wish that he had made the legs detachable so it was easier to get in the house -we had to unscrew doors in the end. But his high quality workmanship is outstanding. I would work with this maker again.
