Modern Art Table
Inspired by our love of modern furniture and mosaic art we combined the two in this 6 person dining table. Each piece of glass tile was meticulously shaped and placed by hand in a color palette chosen by our client. Epoxy grout was used as it is nonporous and chemically resistant making it super easy to clean up with just water and requires no sealing and virtually no maintenance. The modern wood structure was chosen to be contrasting macasar ebony veneer. Its simple form giving a noncompete juxtaposition with the mosaic art. Each table is a unique one-of-a-kind piece of art. No two will be alike. The custom made mosaic art and matching wood veneer can be ordered in 100's of different color and real wood veneer combinations to suite your taste. For Cherry And Walnut End Grain Cutting Board, Handmade And Reversible5.0EDIT: The cutting board is walnut end grain with cocobolo handles. This is the second cutting board made for us and it is even more beautiful than the first - hard to believe. What we didn't know when we received the first board and now this one, is that end cut boards are better for knives which stay sharper longer. They have a great cutting surface. For this board we chose a slightly larger board that is 24"x18"x2" and it gives great working space for cutting and assembling foods. Photos of the boards can't do justice to the quality and craftsmanship. The feel is silky smooth. Everyone who sees the boards gush on how beautiful they are. Needless to say we're really pleased.
