Vintage Plate Panel

$138

Get those beautiful transparent designed plates Grandma had out of your cabinet and ship it to me to make you a one of a kind piece to hang in your window! These pieces not only hold sentimental value but they make the sunlight bounce prisms of rainbows throughout your room. This piece is crystal clear with daisies so I made a rub of the daisy pattern and enlarged it to create the daisies in the corners to add some color. Vintage plates of different colors look amazing these are very eye catching and unique. Price listed is for a custom 12" by 12" piece of which you can add a saucer or dessert plate sized piece.

I am a married mom of 2 and I decided to try my hand at glass art a few years back by taking a class. I immediately fell in love with the art form of glass making and took on the challenge of learning everything I possibly could regarding stained glass and fused glass. I took on a position at a glass store where I worked on custom orders ranging from small gifts to windows, doors, and transoms. Since then the store has been closed so I took it upon myself to start my own business from my home.

For the last couple years I have been creating gift pieces for sale in both stained and fused glass and taking my work to art shows and festivals for sale. I also have been filling custom cabinet and window orders as they come along. I have been a featured artist in many art walk events locally by request. My work is currently in a local artist gallery co-op and I am a current member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen- Glass Artisans Chapter.

My goal with my business is making people smile. I have made custom pieces for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and even as memorials, among other events. My feeling is that you will be seeing my work every day so you should love it and be happy. I also create personalized items for that special touch.

I love working with both stained and fused glass and sometimes combine the two. In stained glass I work in the "Tiffany" or copper foil method. In fused I use System 96 glass. All of my pieces are made by me using my own patterns. I take great effort in making sure that my designs and my work are quality. Most all products that I use are made in America.
