Coast Guard Chief Leather Charge Book

I would have gotten to this review a lot sooner if I had internet at home. Unfortunately, my phone wouldn't let me select any stars! I started this project with Kathleen long before I needed it. She was extremely helpful explaining all the details of what my project would take. She even updated me on the progress and sent pictures of various wallets to choose from so I could get exactly what I was looking for. The price was a bit much, but I wouldn't expect to pay any less for such quality work! Once she informed me it was shipped, I received it within a couple of days. When I saw it in person, I was amazed at the craftsmanship! I had intended to give the wallet to my husband as a father's day gift, but I was too exited and couldn't wait to see how he liked it. It turns out that he LOVED it, especially the last minute personalization of his initials on the front! I will definitely be looking to Kathleen in the future for all my leather-working projects! She is awesome and I would recommend her to anyone!!!

Kathleen is a true professional, an artist and an absolute joy to work with. My book has a beautiful leather cover and amazing artwork that she made real from my word salad of ideas. Most importantly, she is communicative and asked clarifying questions so that she fully captured my vision, even bringing up concepts that I had not considered. I felt that she herself was invested in the project. She also had a great deal of patience and understanding. I did not feel rushed to make design decisions that I wasn't ready for. I can't recommend Kathleen enough and will definitely seek her out in the future.

Kate was absolutely fantastic to work with, and I hope to work with her in the future if the occasion ever arises. I came to custom made with a detailed sketch of what I wanted, and most of the other makers that I approached wouldn't touch it because it was too detailed for leather; however, Kate approached me, and we worked on paring down the design to a workable standard, and she was able to get me my planner.

Even when there was a problem after I received the planner, she was incredibly communicative and adjusted the design at no extra cost to me, and even comped the shipping. In the end, everything turned out really, really well, and I would absolutely work with her again and recommend her to anyone in need of some seriously high quality leather work.

I worked with Katie to create a custom leather wallet as a gift for my boyfriend. Katie is an absolutely fabulous artist and we could not be happier with the final product. She was a joy to work with and checked in with me every step of the way, including sending pictures of the wallet throughout the process. Katie truly takes a vision and creates something better than what you can imagine! We gave her guidelines & let her use her creativity to bring the piece to life and boy was it fantastic. In addition to being aesthetically appealing, the quality is also top of the line. She was always very quick to respond to messages and was just as efficient and speedy in creating & shipping the wallet to us.
