Katie did an absolutely outstanding job on a challenging project for us: a parody of a monopoly game board, with its spaces and interior artwork based upon notable events in our children’s lives to date.

The game board (fyi, not meant to be “played on”; instead, it’s simply for display) is on a thick piece of leather, and she used techniques of pyrography (i.e., “woodburning”), leather hand tooling, and painting and dyeing of the leather, as appropriate to specific places on the board. The artwork involved painting/tooling/dyeing of a number of icons/images that are associated with the events represented in each of the “monopoly spaces”, as well as custom art work including fabulous animal art (for us, some past pets), in the center area of the game board.

Our collaboration was excellent and effective, despite being done completely via messaging. At project outset, I provided an initial vision – detailed and complex - of what I envisioned the completed board could be. She worked to fully realize that vision in excellent fashion, and in fact went well beyond it, periodically asking useful questions and suggesting interesting and appropriate new ideas as the project progressed. I could not be more pleased with how this project turned out; it exceeded my expectations, which were high to begin with. We are delighted with the work!

I had a wallet made for my husband who is an Army Veteran and I just can't say how beautiful and what an amazing job she did on it. Her work is nothing but amazing. She was easy to talk to, get in touch with. The price was prefect. I looking forward to buying more in the near future and would recommend anyone to her.

First off my project was a belt, it is absolutely beautiful!!! I love, love, love it. This experience was great, constant communication along with sketches, pictures, and messages kept me up to date. I will be using this artist in the future as well referring to others. Anyone interested in a project will be thrilled with the whole experience, and throughly satisfied with their product.
