Hand tattooed leather belts
These belts are not printed or embroidered, they are completely hand tattooed with a tattoo machine and needle cartridges. They are done on full grain veg tanned leather. The needle actually lifts the leather slightly and deposits the color just beneath the surface making the belt very durable and the color very durable as well. Because the tattoo needle is a fraction of the width of a swivel knife that allows for incredible fine line details. These belts on average take 3 to 5 times longer than tooled belts. All of my creations are meant to be one of a kind items. They are uniquely conceptualized and designed. If you see an texture or color or effect that inspires you, it may be possible to do the same technique or color or effect on a different item that I make. For instance perhaps you like the texture of a handbag and you love it on a journal cover in a different color. If that’s the case please reach out for a quote. For many of these items it’s not really possible for me to make again in the same way. But if you see something you like I might have some thing similar that I can do.
I use many techniques to create these effects including but not limited to hand tooling, stamping, tattooing and specific dye processes. I use a variety of leathers in my craft including veg tanned leather’s, chrome tanned leather and exotic leather. Exotic leather varies wildly depending on quality grade and size. I may have to talk to the tanneries for available supplies before giving you a quote on a custom item. If you have any questions please reach out. I started this project with Kathleen long before I needed it. She was extremely helpful explaining all the details of what my project would take. She even updated me on the progress and sent pictures of various wallets to choose from so I could get exactly what I was looking for. The price was a bit much, but I wouldn't expect to pay any less for such quality work! Once she informed me it was shipped, I received it within a couple of days. When I saw it in person, I was amazed at the craftsmanship! I had intended to give the wallet to my husband as a father's day gift, but I was too exited and couldn't wait to see how he liked it. It turns out that he LOVED it, especially the last minute personalization of his initials on the front! I will definitely be looking to Kathleen in the future for all my leather-working projects! She is awesome and I would recommend her to anyone!!!

For The Best Basic Custom Biker Chain Wallet4.8I absolutely loved working with kathleen. I had put in an order for a custom wallet for my father with his company logo. She did amazing! Than I placed another order for a matching belt, she gave me a break in price since I was already ordering the wallet. When things were just about complete I asked her about a matching belt buckle and she made that too!! I would absolutely recommend her work. My father loves his gifts, he cannot wear the belt due to it being a little large…my fault not hers. Anybody thinking of hiring Kathleen to do you project, do it! You won't regret it!!
