Steel Top Coffee Table With Steel Tube Legs
This is a coffee table made with a 3/16" steel top and 1.75" steel tube legs and supports. It is roughly 18"x48"x21". Dimensions could be changed if needed as each would be made custom. The one in the picture has bolts in the legs so that it can be leveled if needed but they were also added for aesthetics so that it had a very industrial look to it.

My name is Aaron and I'm the grandson of a B17 gunner and heavy equipment operator, and son of a tool and die maker. I'm a Plastics Engineer by education and career.
I've always been interested in how things work and how things are made. It's a "quality" of mine that I'm always looking at things trying to figure out why they are the way they are and what the designers/engineers would have had to think of to make something work.
I had very limited exposure to welding in my childhood but always found it intriguing. I was asked a few years ago if I could weld, and my answer was yes, I can, but why aren’t I? I took a couple classes and began making things for myself and the ideas of making things from scrap and reclaimed parts and pieces started flooding my thoughts.
Since then, I’ve become very passionate about making custom items for people that are built to accent their spaces and be functional.
I have built most items from reclaimed steel, wood and machinery parts. Some of my more artistic pieces have been featured in local galleries and eclectic shops. With each piece and interaction with a client, I gain knowledge and ideas for future works. I'm always looking forward to creating a piece that someone would be proud to own and explain the items story to friends and family.
