“Rustic Elegance” is the term most often used to describe the furnishings created by master-craftsman, Robert Stephan.

With over two decades of custom craftsmanship, Robert will design, build and hand finish each piece to perfection. The furniture is hand made in Boise, Idaho, and can be crated and shipped worldwide.

To honor our commitment of being environmentally responsible, we utilize two main sources of materials to create these beautiful pieces of furniture. The first being salvaged lumber including reclaimed solid wood timbers and lumber from recycled age-old buildings. The second source comes from kiln-dried lumber of select trees taken from sustainable grown forests of the United States.

The workmanship is outstanding, special attention is given to the selection and placement of timbers to maximize the character of each individual piece. Using the time tested, old-world joinery techniques such as Mortise & Tenon, Dovetail, Ship Lap, and Copen-style each piece has the structural integrity to last for generations. The finish can be hand-hewn or smooth sanded, waxed, stained, painted or even a combination, ultimately ensuring a distinctively unique furnishing.
