Located in the foothills of the North Carolina Appalachian Mountains, we have an unlimited supply of reclaimed and raw material for our rustic and not so rustic projects. Being an avid woodworker, a lot of my 27 + years of experience comes from being a general contractor restoring homes and businesses from fire and water damage. A few years back, I had a client who lost a family heirloom in a fire. The old "Jelly Cupboard", as the lady called it, was not salvageable and she was devastated as it had been her great grandmother's. I decided to attempt to build her another one and through charred remains and photographs, we were able to reproduce the cupboard to the client's satisfaction! As a matter of fact, she told me sometime later that no one knew the difference and thought it was the original one! I am very creative and have a perfectionist's eye toward detail as is reflected in my work. I also enjoy collaborating with others to create interesting works of art! We have been building custom works of art for close to twenty five years and frequent the craft show circuit as well as other venues for selling our products.

We only use the best materials (see descriptions) and when we can't find the right reclaimed material for use on a particular project, I will personally hand pick each piece from a lumber yard (Not Big Box stores) checking the integrity of each one for warping, grain patterns, moisture content etc. I also use unique techniques to give new wood a weathered or distressed look when required. We try to incorporate old metal and wood in some projects to create the most natural look possible while giving it that vintage appeal!

I look forward to working with you to design your next project. Let's build something!
