The finest figured Claro Walnut from Oregon was acquired to make this bed. Large slabs show off the grain in this clean and bold design. The nightstands cantilever and float from the sides of the bed. Stunning Spalted maple is used for the drawer fronts. A modern heirloom. Northwest Modern.

Grainlab Design
Grainlab Design is a one woman custom furniture studio. Since 2000 I have designed and built furniture and interiors for architects, interior designers, business and private clients.
I have been a woodworker for over 30 years. I studied with James Krenov and have apprenticed and worked with some of the finest furniture makers in the country. I am a member of The NW Woodworker's Gallery in Seattle WA and show my work throughout the region.
I design with a Northwest Modern perspective. I'm inspired by simple clean design and gorgeous woods that express the natural elements with a comtemporary profile.
