Grainlab Design is a one woman custom furniture studio. Since 2000 I have designed and built furniture and interiors for architects, interior designers, business and private clients.

I have been a woodworker for over 30 years. I studied with James Krenov and have apprenticed and worked with some of the finest furniture makers in the country. I am a member of The NW Woodworker's Gallery in Seattle WA and show my work throughout the region.

I design with a Northwest Modern perspective. I'm inspired by simple clean design and gorgeous woods that express the natural elements with a comtemporary profile. I encourage you to contact me for colaboration on your furniture ideas. I can customize a current design, or build something with your ideas as inspiration.

Maker Policies

Shipping Policy

I can ship anywhere in the country. Shipping costs and methods will be negotiated as part of the project cost. All shipments must carry insurance against damage or a signed waiver by the purchaser. All shipping costs are paid by the purchaser.

Maker Policy

Custom work is non-refundable and once in-progress, custom projects cannot be cancelled. For stock items purchased directly from my portfolio, I offer returns within 60 days of delivery. Shipping for returns is at the customer's expense. If you need an item by a specific date or for a specific event, please let me know in advance of accepting a proposal.
