Here at YellowHat Woodworks we strive to create unique products with a rustic feel. All of our products are handmade, and never two alike.

Who Are We?

Main woodsman Waylon is a red beard quiet fellow with a keen eye for perfection. He has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and currently practices his art in his free time.

The Creative Design factor comes from Rhiannon, she specializes in keeping Waylon on task, and adding the color to the picture. No she doesn't have the red beard, but she does sometimes dye her hair red. All of which brings us to the main point of starting this business, kids.

They have 2 beautiful children Wyatt 3, and Ayla 1. The kids have been great but keep them on their toes.

Why YellowHat?

Once upon a time Waylon was a janitor in high school, and he wore this dingy yellow hat for everything! He never took it off! Well, Rhiannon met Waylon and fell in love with "the man in the yellow hat," and the rest is history. That yellow hat is a part of their family history and still hangs out around their house. Although it finally got retired after some blue paint "accidentally" landed on it.
