The table & bench is entirely hand built from reclaimed American Chestnut. If reclaimed wood were gems. Chestnut wood be a diamond. In 1902, the blight was discovered and wiped out nearly 4 billion of these trees within 40 years. During the blight, it has been said that the trees were like giant silver white skeletons that towered over the forest. And during bloom, the hillside of mountains are recalled as covered in white snow on the 4 of July. 86x37.5x31.5

Hello Everyone:
My name is Teddy and I TRAVEL cross country and hand select old barnwood. Its hauled back up the coast "by me" pit stopping in rest stops until it reaches my wood shop in New Hampshire.
The woods patina is RICH in color, and combined with the character it produces GORGEOUS on of a kind pieces. There's truly something special with giving the 100 + year old wood a second chance
I been told that my furniture REMINDS people of Christmas morning.You'll find joinery marks, nail holes, maker marks and DISCOVER the purpose of the woods history.
For example, a table built from 100 + floor boards from an old home. I ALWAYS think about the people who use to walk on them. I believe I have something special, and want to share it with the world.
