This table is made from cedar that was salvaged from the local courthouse's exterior. After years of neglect the surface had become dry and heavily tarnished, yet after a few runs through the planer, it's natural beauty was back to the surface. After I glued the 6 pieces of the top together, I routed the edge and sanded the entire surface till it was smooth as a babies bottom, then protected that with 2 coats of natural Danish Oil. The Danish Oil is wonderful because it seals and protects from the inside out, leaving the natural feel of the wood at your fingertips. The aluminum legs are actually the baluster's from the courthouses interior stairwell, and I continued the climbing stairs effect by wrapping the legs around one end of the table. The "14th" leg and 1-1/2" band connecting the remaining 13 legs are powder coated steel. The cedar top measures 22"W x 70"L x 1-7/8D. The overall footprint is 25-1/2"W x 72"L x 17"H. This table is named after the presiding Judge of the courthouse.

Hmmmm, a little about me and my business you ask?!?!
I have always enjoyed fabricating for both the artistic and the necessity. My father was a mechanical engineer and the four boys spent a lot of time in his shop tinkering, taking things apart, building, and just having fun. I learned a lot from him, especially from the methodical approach to a project to developing systems and practices to make the project come to life. My mother imparted the creative/softer side of things, and I believe the two influences have come together in a most beautiful way! I am very thankful for that.
I will say this with the utmost sincerity and certainty, I approach each one of my projects from a very personal perspective, from initial consultation with the client(s), all the way through the process and even post delivery/installation. I take great pride in my work and word. Communication is one of the most underrated elements of business, and I work diligently to communicate with the client, whether it be though voice, text, email, face to face, you name it. I enjoy sending progress photos/teaser photos as the project progresses. Or if the client prefers, keeping it under wraps until finished!
If you are looking for something truly unique, with an emphasis on personalization to you and your environment, I would love to talk about it with you.
Thank you for your time.
