Rustic Industrial Pipe Coffee Table

$324

Rustic, Industrial style coffee table. This table will make a perfect addition to any style home or apartment. Whether you are going for a modern, rustic, or industrial look or just want a great conversation piece, this table was built to last for many years. This table top is made from a single 8 foot X 2 foot slab of Cherry wood from northern Indiana. The board was cut in half and pieced together. There is a 10" split, known as a "check" on the end of the table. This is a natural occurrence that can happen as the wood is drying from its heavy moisture content. There are three inlayed walnut bowtie keys that stabilize this check and will prevent the wood from splitting any further. They also provide a very neat visual aspect to the table! The dimensions of the table are: 4' X 23" X 16" tall. The leg base is made from black iron pipe. They are very sturdy and are secured to the bottom of the table top with screws. The pipes have been cleaned of the oils that are used during manufacturing with steel wool. After cleaning the pieces are coated with a polyurethane coating to prevent rust and makes them smooth to the touch. The legs are easily attached to the table top but will ship disassembled to save on shipping costs. If you have any other table or furniture ideas, please let me know!! Thanks for looking!

I am an Indianapolis, IN native and work full time in the Insurance industry. I live here with my wife, daughter, two dogs, and two cats. Everything I do is for my girls!

I decided to start a small woodworking business in February of 2016 to try to bring in some additional income. I had been working a second job (retail) for a little over 5 years and wanted to try to spend more time at home, but still bring in some additional income. So I decided to take my passion for creating and working with wood and start a small business.

My specialties are in furniture items and symmetrical pattern work. I very much enjoy the process of taking raw materials and transforming them into something beautiful that will be used on a daily basis.
