Cowan Table
The Cowan is an industrial bridge-beam design constructed from 11-gauge hot-roll plate metal, with a clear coat finish. The table shown is 7' x 4' with a hardwood walnut top, and is available for purchase. This item can be custom-built in other sizes, topped with walnut or cherry hard wood (standard option), or with granite or solid surface. (Stainless steel is not recommended as a top for this large of a table.) The Cowan table is solid and imposing, with a vintage look that can work with country, rustic, organic, modern or industrial decor. The Cowan Table as shown is in its standard size of 7' x 4', but it can be sized up to 8' x 4', 12' x 5' or 16' x 5' to fit your use. The 7' or 8' Cowan can be used in a kitchen or dining room as a great and truly unique farmhouse table. It also makes a great desk! At 12' or 16', the Cowan Table is a perfect for conference or meeting rooms. We have made Cowans for use in several restaurants, and the tables have become preferred seating for large groups. They are truly beautiful! The Cowan includes four leveling pads under each column (table leg) to ensure perfect stability regardless of where it is placed.

I was born and raised in Gainesboro, the county seat of Jackson County, Tennessee. I've worked in metal fabrication and tooling for 30 years, and have owned my own shop since 2001. Our town has fewer than 1,000 people, and almost everybody knows almost everyone else. So whatever you're building, it had better be good, or you're going to hear about it!
