Love the salty weathered look of drift wood and a rusty hull? Then you will love our Nautical & Beach signs. Drift wood, dune fencing, ship boards and rust. The only thing missing is a cool ocean breeze, the smell of salt and suntan oil, sand between your toes and a tasty cold beverage, As with all of our Replica & Vintage signs, our Nautical & Beach signs undergo the same distressing processes. We do not use commercial or retail grade lumber. That stuff is just to perfect. Rather, we use rejected stock the public at large does not find desirable. If its beat up, split and broken, it's desirable to Crafty Xtremes. In addition, if it washes up on the beach or along the edge of a lake or river, we find that most desirable. Fence pickets, ship boards and drift wood are our main wood materials for our Nautical & Beach sign projects. Our projects that incorporate metal will come with faux rust treatments derived through our special salting process then neutralized and sealed for permanence. Prices vary by size and of level detail and distressing. We specialize in the three R's: 'Rescuing, Re-purposing and Re-introducing' up-cycled materials. We apply the three 'R's' in most of our sign projects as well as many of our furniture projects.
When considering a commission for work, please provide clear instruction and details for your project. We provide one initial proof of concept free of charge based on customer input for all sign commissions..
Customer's proof will be posted for approval to the Custom Made website. We offer one revision of initial proof free of charge and will attach revision to a proposal.
In the event additional revisions are required, additional proofs are available upon acceptance of proposal. Custom commissions are subject to cost increases incurred by customer when a complete redesign is required.
Cost increases will be resubmitted as an amendment to original proposal. No work may commence until customer accepts amended proposal.
Commissioned works cannot be returned or refunded. Customer is responsible for supplying correct spelling of personal names, dates of interest, general information, special quotes or sayings applied to signs and wall art.
Blue Shed Mayhem and its representatives are not responsible for items damaged, mishandled, or lost during shipping. Please provide correct delivery address when placing order.

Rick helped me to design something that was exactly what I envisioned, and he sent pictures so that I had a very good idea of what the finished product would look like. He was professional and timely in all his communication and the finished sign looked great. On the downside, it's a great sign but probably not worth $140 at the end of the day. Also, shipping was crazy - $20 for shipping that took over a week. This is largely out of the his control, but he might consider a different shipping method. Overall, I was very happy.
