Debra Amerson dba Deeper Green

I'm Debra Amerson. I'm a visual artist, photographer, designer and filmmaker, who lives and works in West Marin County north of San Francisco. There, I lead Deeper Green—helping residential and commercial clients decorate spaces with green interior design methods, installing artistic interior plantscapes and custom home decor.

I enjoy making beautiful art, sculpture, pots, planter boxes and indoor garden accessories integrating my artistic gifts using a combo of creative tools including: my hands, my camera and my Mac.

My own bi-lines, art, horticultural expertise and have been featured on Green Seed Radio, on TV on “Eye On The Bay” in numerous publications including the San Francisco Chronicle, "Wired" Online, Creation Spirituality Magazine, The Marin IJ, Common Ground Magazine, Organic Style Magazine, Interior Landscape Business, California Home & Design, Interiorscape Magazine and Departures Magazine by American Express.

I have earned numerous awards and honors throughout my career, including a Greenscapes Partner with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, certification as a Marin County Green Business, Permaculture Design Certification from the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center, Best Project Award by the California Interior Plantscape Association, and Grand installer’s Award For Whole Foods Market from the Landscape Contractors of America.
