First, let me say most emphatically that this stand is a well-crafted piece of art. A piece of very functional art. I got it to hold and display a recently acquired Huber banjo and they make a most fitting pair. The aesthetics of the design, the materials and finish are outstanding. Working with Scott was equal perfection. His responses were timely, his delivered product was as described and arrived as promised. I couldn't be more pleased. Simply magnificent!

This stand is truly a thing of beauty. Scott was great to work with. I told him early on I had an upcoming trip, and concerns that it would not arrive before I left. He got it to me way ahead of time. The workmanship is awesome! My Stelling is really enjoying its new companion.

This is the third of four stands I have ordered from South Mountain. My two previous two banjo stands are from the same maker, and I knew the design would make sense for a valuable classic guitar. Aside from the quality of workmanship and materials, the stands are aesthetically pleasing, protect the finish on my instruments, and work on shelves when I am not playing and as floor stands on which to rest instruments when I put them down during practice. I highly recommend this artisan.
