The bench was completed beautifully. However, it became damaged in shipping, so I will need to buy additional materials to clean up an upper edge of the seat and and refinish the piece.

I was very impressed with Kinderling Wood. I have an old tubular chime that had a really ugly cover and was in a tight alcove. It looks great, and fits perfectly. There was excellent, professional, back and forth and confirming of dimensions and how it would hang. It fits into the architecture of the room now so well that actually no one has noticed the old ugly one is gone.

Michael was excellent with his communications. All questions were answered quickly and he was very helpful in selecting the type of wood and stain. We are very happy with our new doorbell chime cover!

Put together Michael's fun puzzle chair tonight with my son for his third birthday, and we all love it! I came across Michael's work a few weeks ago, and we corresponded about an unpainted version of his puzzle chair for us. I appreciate the advice he gave about wood choices and finishing, and am so pleased with the final product. A nice bonus was that he got us the chair in time for my son's birthday -- certainly didn't expect that. Thanks for the beautiful work!

We are so glad to have worked with Mike on our custom project! We were in the market for a King size bed and had looked at several furniture stores, when we finally decided to go the custom route. Mike is the ideal person to work with if you are like us and have an idea of what you want but feel a bit overwhelmed bringing your idea to life. The final product exceeded my expectations. Mike worked with me to create exactly what my vision was, and it is breathtaking. The custom Adirondack Chair was done in a super turnaround, and I have been getting compliments nonstop! I will ONLY get my woodwork done by Mike!

Mike and I spent three months discussing my bed in excruciating detail. He devoted an unbelievable amount of time to answering my questions and helping me decide between options I didn't even know existed when we started! The end result is beautifully crafted, with a completely unique design and a wood I wouldn't have been able to afford had Mike not been able to use some extra he had lying around for the headboard (it is GORGEOUS). Out of dozens of makers, Mike gave me the only quote I could afford, and I can't imagine a better result. I'm sad the process is over because it was so much fun to plan. One star off for a few mistakes, mainly that the bed is the wrong size (queen-size instead of full-size) and I'm one slat short.

Mike made my first experience with custom made a hreat experience. He comminicated with me throughout the whole process, he was able to bring my ideal to life. I cant wait until I come up with another project so I can wokwth Mike again.

I absolutely love the stand-up desk that Michael made. His design insights really made the project come together. We arrived at a design that includes a nesting element for portability! I couldn't be happier with the communication and execution of this entire project. I would strongly recommend using Kinderling Wood for any type of project.

Mike was very professional and easy to work with - he went above and beyond to make sure my wishes were met, but also made sure that he guided me to better decisions when his expertise saw I likely wouldn't be happy with what I was asking for (such as the combination of stain colors). I doubt I could find mass-produced boxes without the options I wanted for the price he delivered. Thank you, Mike - I'm so excited to give these to my nieces!

Michael was extremely easy to work with and did a phenomenal job on the stools I ordered. He was great at helping me develop my vision, and at communicating the progress. The only minor issue is they took a little longer (a week) than estimated, but I didn't have tight timeline. Overall, the process was outstanding and I would recommend Michael. I will definitely be working with him again.

Mike was a pleasure to work with. Communication was clear, he delivered on time and the end product was great. He built exactly what I wanted and I would be happy to work with him again.
