Honeysuckle Salvage original book origami designs are created by artist Wendy Gordon. Through her passion for repurposing and her bibliophile sensitivities - Wendy discovered her love of book origami 2 years ago. Once she started folding pages and seeing her designs come to life, Wendy knew book origami would be a huge part of her life. And so, Honeysuckle Salvage was born.

With an eye for the unique and a passion for nature-themed pieces, Wendy creates her designs from scratch. Seeing each piece come to life - evolving from a drawing on a piece of paper into folds in the page of a book. She creates designs ranging from typography to animals and beyond, constantly adding new pieces to her portfolio and imagining new folded book art patterns each day.

In addition to her existing portfolio of work, Wendy enjoys working with clients to create custom pieces based on what they've imagined. The biggest thrill, says Wendy, is knowing many of her pieces will become cherished gifts. Her goal is to pepper the world of book art with her one of a kind works of art.

Aside from spending her days folding book pages, Wendy also is a social media consultant for several clients and an Usui Reiki Master.

Wendy resides in the mountain town of Buena Vista, CO. She spends her free time with her boyfriend James and their 2 rescue dogs, Ella and Oak.
