James Hubert, owner of Geppetto's, has been a woodworking artisan in Massachusetts' Pioneer Valley for over 40 years. Some of his time was spent designing and building custom cabinetry, but he is now focused on fine furniture and crafts. All of his work is done by hand with a keen attention to detail.

Shipping Policy
SHIPPING: • Shipping, handling and insurance costs for Custom Work are based on individual items and will be calculated on actual costs at time of shipping or they will be included with project proposal. • We generally use USPS ground for shipping. However, we will use UPS or FedEx if this would be your preference. Some items, due to size and/or weight, might dictate using a freight carrier. Please notify us of your shipping company preference and a method (ground, priority, expedited, etc.) preference prior to proposal as pricing varies greatly. • Shipping dates are determined by the original proposal. If change orders are requested then the shipping date will be revised and noted on the change order.
Maker Policy
POLICIES GUARANTEES: • 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. • Custom Orders and Change Orders are warranted against material defects (checking, warping and finish failure) for a period of sixty (60) days of purchase delivery and against workmanship defects for a period of one (1) year of purchase delivery. SEE CUSTOM ORDER RETURNS • Stocked product orders are returnable, if in original condition, within thirty (30) days of purchase delivery. SEE STOCKED PRODUCT RETURNS • NOTE: Wood is subject to inherent markings, color and grain changes. Color changes within the wood itself also affect the final color appearance of wood stains. These are considered to be a part of the beauty in wood and are not defects. CUSTOM ORDERS: • After acceptance of proposal, two matching wood grain samples will be submitted for material, stain, paint, top coat and sheen approval. Return one signed and dated sample to us (Geppetto’s Craft Shop), this sample will become part of the contract. • Progress photographs will be submitted via email on a regular basis. CHANGE ORDERS: • If changes to an accepted project proposal are requested, a Change Order will be prepared and submitted for approval. • Change Orders will be quoted based on the revised design. • Change Orders are not refundable after they are accepted and will become part of the contract. SEE PAYMENTS PROPOSALS: • All proposals and change orders are according to enclosed policies and custommade.com terms. PAYMENTS: • All Custom Orders under $1,000.00 require a 50% deposit. Orders $1,000.00 and over require a 66 2/3% deposit. Balance is due when the order is complete and ready for shipping. • All Change Orders require 100% payment at time of change order acceptance. • All payments are made through custommade.com with WePay. CUSTOM ORDER RETURNS: • Custom Orders are not refundable after acceptance of proposal. We will work with you prior to proposal acceptance to insure that you are completely satisfied with the design • Please contact us, in writing, with any issue you may have concerning your purchase. We will review your concern and will work with you in order to remedy your issue. STOCKED PRODUCT RETURNS: • Return authorization is required by Geppetto’s Craft Shop. • Please contact us in writing, prior to returning product, with any issue you may have concerning your purchase. We will review your concern and will work with you in order to remedy your issue. • After authorization, return product in original condition, within the warranty period for an EXCHANGE or full PURCHASE PRICE REFUND. Exchange or refund will be issued upon our receipt and inspection of product. Refund will be issued in same manner as purchased. • Return INSURED (equal to at least purchase price amount) product in original box with all original parts and materials with a brief letter of explanation. • SORRY, shipping, handling and insurance costs are not refundable. • DO NOT RETURN product to us if damaged in shipping.
