Melad StudioWorks designs and creates handmade modern furniture and casework in rural central Massachusetts. We offer complete custom design and fabrication for new pieces, carry a limited in-stock inventory, or can build to your specs. We strive to produce the best work possible using high quality materials and traditional techniques, while at the same time maintaining a modern aesthetic.
The studio was founded in 2013 with the aim of constructing modern, custom-designed furniture and casework using high quality materials, and with direct communication and input from the client. The Studio’s pieces reflect our aesthetic ideals while also considering the needs of the customer and functionality of the product.
Ethan Melad, designer and fabricator at MSW, received a BFA in Photography from Massachusetts College of Art. While at MassArt, Ethan delved into as many medium as possible; from video to installation to welding and metalsmithing. A love of diverse materials and techniques developed into a desire to create works that are beautiful, unique, and functional.

Either local pickup or shipping are available - please be aware that shipping of furniture can be fairly expensive.
