This cremation piece was created for a multi-talented artist who died way too soon and was designed by a very dear friend of hers. The koa and bloodwood portions were made from blocks waiting to be scupted in her studio. The painter's palette is one she used in her vey successful painting career. Her pets were dear to her and the smaller compartments, with names enscribed in "paint dollops", are for each of them. The main urn was made large enough so that her partner of many years can someday join her.
