Fused Glass Platter - Hawaii Aloha
This hand raked fused glass platter was a parting gift for a valued employee after years of service. The client asked that the design combine elements of both the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. Mount Hood anchors the background while red ginger, `illima and plumeria are featured in the foreground. The raking gives the glass a painterly feel. The platter has a slight rise on both ends for a modern look. It is food safe and should be hand washed. Not for use in the microwave.
