Titanic Style Wide Brim Edwardian Summer Hat

Custom made Titanic vintage inspired hat made in sinamay with wide slopping brim in pale green with jewel toned in teal blue and emerald green details accented with just a hint of burgundy red. This hat is handmade where I shaped the crown over a vintage wooden hat block. The brim was then hand shaped for a 1900's vintage look. The crown and brim have been covered in a floral designed lace in a pale shade of sea foam green. I used a wide emerald green lace trim and placed it around the brim and crown. Taffeta was used to create a lustrous band for the crown and a flounce to set off the large lifelike burgundy rose. The hat is finished off with dark teal green ostrich feathers for a Titanic era look. A wonderful vintage style elegant hat to wear at Edwardian Victorian events, wedding or a garden tea. A perfect accessory to a vintage event. Hat brim will be apx 15" across Contact me and I will email you instructions to measure your head. I can make this style hat in almost any color. Could have the hat ready to ship in about one week.

I have always been a maker of things. My first memory of making things was when I was a little girl. I would cut up old sheets while sitting on the living room floor and try to figure out how all the pieces could be fit together to make something. My fascination with fabric has never been far from my mind. I have always had needle and fabric in my hands. I started designing my own cloths in Jr high and never stopped, some 40 years ago. I have always had a love for hats. When I discovered the internet I knew I could now make and sell my hats. I am so excited to have found CustomMade.com a place to share and grow my love of hats.

I offer custom made and ready to wear hats. Hat designs from the 1900's Victorian era past the Roaring 20's flapper days and beyond the World War II Bombshell hats. A hat shop dedicated to the fashions of the past with a connection to the styles of today.

The hat was beautiful and my girlfriend loved it. It would gain on being packed in a hat box, hence the missing star.
