Industrial Reclaimed Timber End Table Set
These end tables are made from reclaimed antique fir milled the turn of the century, salvaged from a barn in Oregon. The base is 2"x1" tube steel in matte black powdercoat finish. The legs have a 5 degree taper as they go toward the floor, giving the tables a nice light look. This listing is for a matched pair of end tables, but single units are available. The non-toxic, health-counscious finish is resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk and water etc. according to German Industrial DIN 68861 - 1C and complies EURO-NORM EN 71 (suitable for children's toys). This finish makes product care simple and easy. In most cases all that's needed is an occasional wipe-down with a soft cloth dampened with water. A detailed finish description is available on request. The tables measure approximately 24"L x 18"W x 19"H. Other sizes and configurations of these tables are available, and the design is also offered in coffee table, console, and dining table sizes. Turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks. I specialize in reclaimed materials, healthy and environmentally friendly finishes, and run a full custom furniture shop and retail store in Oregon. I am a strong advocate of recycling in its many forms, and am proud to offer historic lumber products a second life as a work of art or furniture. I am involved with the materials I use from the very beginning, whether it be architectural salvage, or rescuing logs from pulp yards and milling them into raw lumber. From selection and processing to finished product and shipping, I am involved every step of the way. For Custom Entry Console Table5.0One caveat: we have not yet picked up our table. However, we have been very happy with how this project has gone. We saw one of Jonathan's floating wood tables with a metal base on the Custom Made website and fell in love with it. After corresponding with Jonathan, we asked him to make the same table but with a different stain and different metal base. He worked closely with us throughout the process. He sent us two samples with the proposed stain and we made our selection from the two. When the project was complete, he sent us two photos with good shots of the top with the beautiful unique grain. We are picking the table up this week and are very excited. It looks exactly as we envisioned. This was a very good experience.
