This cane is made of tropical Hardwoods. Cane can be shorten up to 3" to 33 1/2". This walking stick/cane is top is made of Bocote wood and the shaft is Wenge wood. The cane measures 36 1/2" in length. The top section is 6" length and diameter of the knob is about 2". Wood color is natural and the durable top coat finish is CA glue finish commonly used by wood turners. The shaft of the cane is tapered; the rubber tip (7/8"), and replacements are found at drug or medical supply stores. The handle and shaft of the cane are joined with a steel dowel screw and epoxy glue making a very strong joint. Not only are walking canes/ sticks good for steadiness but they can also be used as a tool for personal protection. #88 International shipping can be expensive because of the length of the package.
