I could not be happier about how this box turned out. It's simply gorgeous! I used black walnut for the top and bottom parts of the box, and added a strip of cream-colored sassafras across the center of the box. The lid secures the contents of the box well but is also easy to take off. I sanded the inside of the box until the texture became really soft. This one-of-a-kind piece measures 4" x 2.75" x 1.5" and is made completely with repurposed wood.
