For Asha Tea house in Berkeley, California, I created a warm setting to enjoy a cup of tea in an exposed concrete high loft environment. The reclaimed douglas fir matched the counter materials of hot rolled steel and vertical grained douglas fir. Each square of the steel base frame was created out of a single uninterrupted piece of steel that was notched, bent and welded to create pleasant curves at each corner. The benefit of using the reclaimed material, while still finished smooth, offered character and story to its previous life through the iron deposits and tight grain from being joists in a recently remodeled victorian home.

Adam was awesome to work with! He took our idea of a custom bar for our office and brought it to life with a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece of walnut that was constructed with excellent craftsmanship. It's a gorgeous, sturdy piece, and has become the new hotspot in our office! Would definitely use Adam again for any future woodworking projects and highly recommend him to anyone looking for some amazing and unique furniture.
